My knee sucks.

Well my knee started hurting in the middle of my run yesterday, but I kind of figured I had just upset it by sitting on my ankle with my knee it the bent position all day.  I put an ice pack on it over night and it seemed to help, but alas. When I woke up this morning my knee was still in pain. It pretty much hurt all day and when I attempted to run on it this evening, I fell short of completing even half a mile. This gave me the excuse to make a trip to Target to find a knee brace! We'll see if that helps any. If not I'll most likely be seeing a doctor so I don't do any kind of serious damage to myself.

So I have a delicious breakfast to share with you all! I found it on the ever so wonderful Pinterest. It's basically an overnight cold oatmeal. Yeah, I know...Cold. Oatmeal. Weird, right? Well it was better than I expected it to be!

Here's what you'll need!
1/3 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

1/3 cup 100% Whole Grain Oats

1/3 cup Plain Greek Yogurt

1/2 of a Banana

1 TBS Chia Seeds

Cinnamon To Taste

Stevia To Taste

Next, put all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix it up!!

Now, you may be asking yourself "What the hell are Chia Seeds?" Well I'll tell you what they are...They are exactly what you're thinking. That's right. Chia Seeds. As in "Cha Cha Cha Chia!" I found them at GNC. You can also find them on Amazon and they may be available at local health food markets. They've got all sorts of health benefits including Omega-3 fatty acids!

After you've got this delicious mess all mixed up, put it in a container and dream about eating it in the morning.

I put some strawberries in it and it was preeeeety tasty. I'll probably be having this for breakfast for the rest of the week. It was super simple to make and it kept me full until lunch.

Here's hoping tomorrow's run won't be as painful as today's!
